UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the United States of America

The United States of America ratified the World Heritage Convention on 7 December, 1973. As of May 2010, it has 20 World Heritage Sites. Of these, 8 are in the cultural category and 12 in the natural category. the United States also has another 14 sites on the World Heritage Tentative List.
