Tassili n'Ajjer is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Algeria. It is famous for being one of the best representations of prehistoric cave art in the world. What to See in Tassili n'AjjerThere are about 15,000 cave drawings and etchings. They depict animal migrations and human life. The cave paintings have been done between 6000 BC and the 1st century AD. The paintings from different periods exhibit varying characteristics and stylistic differences.
