Meidan Emam also called Naghsh-e Jahan Square or Imam Square is a huge publi square in the city of Esfahan, also written Isfahan, in Iran. Meidan Emam measures 160 meters by 560 meters, covering an area of 89,600 square meters. It is surrounded by monuments from the Safavid era, one of the most significant ruling dynasties of Iran, which ruled between 1501 and 1736.

Meidan Emam was built by the ruler Shah Abbas I the Great at the beginning of the 17th century. Among the grand structures that border the square include the Shah Mosque, on the south side; the Ali Qapu Palace, on the west side; and the Sheikh Lotf Allah Mosque on the east side. The square opens to the Isfahan Grand Bazaar on the north side. Friday prayers are held at Meidan Emam in front of Shah Mosque.

Meidan Emam, Esfahan was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site during the 3rd session of the World Heritage Committee in Cairo and Luxor, Egypt, on 22-26 October, 1979.
